Katie & Chase · 20 years married, still best friends
Our story
We Know What It’s Like to Wonder if Your Marriage Will Survive.
We loved each other deeply. We were best friends. But when betrayal entered our relationship, everything we thought we knew about love, trust, and emotional safety was shaken.
We spent years trying to understand how to heal, often without the guidance or support we desperately needed.
How do you reach for safety in the arms of someone you no longer feel safe with?
Katie needed reassurance, honesty, and emotional safety. Chase struggled to understand how to sit with her pain without becoming defensive or overwhelmed by his own shame. We were both hurting, but we were experiencing that pain in completely different ways.
Today, after 20 years of marriage, we’re still best friends. But we’ve learned that rebuilding a relationship requires more than love, apologies, or simply waiting for time to pass. It requires understanding the pain, recognizing the patterns that keep couples disconnected, and learning how to create emotional safety together.
Our personal experience gave us an understanding of betrayal from both sides of the relationship. Our training and years of coaching individuals and couples have given us practical ways to help others through what we once faced ourselves.
